The main goal of the project was to develop a device, which is able to simulate motion of a landing platform on a ship. The customer (Company Schiebel) uses this device for drone operators to learn landing on a ship.

Motion platform for simulation of drone landing on a ship is based on hydraulic 6DoF motion platform. Kinematics and dynamics of the motion platform was designed in order to be able to reproduce typical behavior of a ship on the see.

The payload of the motion platform is 3000 kg.
